Renovation milling drums

KNOW-HOW
Thanks to our many years of experience in the road industry, we specialize in regenerating milling drums for milling machines and recyclers of all types and manufacturers. As one of the few companies in Poland, we can be proud of the implementation of the largest number of such repairs. We regenerate drums with a width of 300 to 2200 mm.

When to consider?
In the absence of preserved evenness of the milled surface, a difference in depth and distance arises, which causes the appearance of humps after milling.

What you can achive?
Properly performed regeneration of the milling drum consisting in restoring the original geometry of the setting of the handles at the appropriate angles – entering angle and angle of attack – guarantees the evenness of the milled surface. Depending on the type of renovation and the condition of the milling drum, regeneration includes:
  • Disassembly of the drum.
  • Cleaning and determining the scope of the drum renovation (welding, welding of the drum shell’s cracks).
  • Inventory of holders or bases of brackets to be replaced.
  • Laying down handles or bases of handles.
  • Putting a new geometry of settings for handles or bases.
  • Preheating before welding to eliminate stresses.
  • Welding in gas shields with deep penetration.
  • Painting the drum.
  • Preparation for collection.
We are able to repair the drum with the standard arrangement of the holders as well as with the double density of the planimetric milling clamps – used for milling ruts. We can also replace the old fixing system with another system – cheaper in use.
